GTK concept is a new concept in the making of cars. Danish tuner Kleemann, one of the leading hardcore roadsters in the world has come up with a new Mercedes Benz car built from the most standard version. This newly built car has enormous speed and power compared to the standard version. The standard Mercedes Benz SLK 55 AMG was turned into a monster of 540 bhp. This milestone step taken by Kleemann is considered as one of the best moves for the future cars. It is expected that it may lead to a future line of Mercedes Benz cars built by Kleemann.
The new car derived from the standard AMG has 540 bhp which means that it can reach 62 mph from 0 in a matter of 3.7 seconds. This speed is much higher than a Ferrari F430. The new car can also reach a top speed of 190 mph. The traditional 5.4 liter V8 engine of the AMG model was supercharged by an additional supercharger. In the standard version, the V8 engine has 360bhp. Aside from this supercharger, huge 380mm vented brakes are also added to the car. The specially designed Kleemann alloy wheels of 20” are added to make the massive monster. Mercedes 7G tronic seven speed auto box is retained in the new car while a Kleemann limited slip differential is included in the car.
Even though several interior and important parts of the car are changed, roof, doors and windows of the AMG model are all retained in the new version. Car designer Christian Brandt helped Kleemann to achieve GTK concept introducing new styling along with carbon fibre body panels.

Lane assist: This lane keeping assist creates a vibration in the cars steering wheels if it perceives that it has moved unintentionally off the lane.
High beam assist: The camera which is wind-shield mounted helps to carefully detect cars from a distance and adjusts the headlight settings accordingly. Depending on the distance it surrounding lights it switches automatically between high-beam to low-beam and then to normal. It adjusts the low beams light from 984 feet to 220 feet this prevents the oncoming vehicle driver from being blinded by the light.
These are just a few, however apart from the obvious basics, the E-Class has two variants to choose from, the V6 E350 that has 268 horsepower and is 258 lb-ft, while the V8 has 382 horsepower and is 391 lb-ft. The difference is the steering wheels and wheels with four-spokes with a six pot, while the V8 wheels are three-spokes.
The E-Class is considered to be a great gamble.
With the latest of J.D. Power APEAL survey it has been estimated that drivers and Mercedes-Benz are completely happy with how their vehicle functions.
It’s the third year consecutively that Mercedes Benz has won the award for gaining the highest points in this customer survey. This gives Mercedes Benz the top notch sport for being the best car of that particular segment as well as the entire market.
The other winners in this segment saw for the first time the SLK-Class, which won for being the best in the Sub-compact segment.
The survey results were declared by the research institute which has earned itself a high reputation. It has shown how satisfied the customers are with their Mercedes Benz cars that always win because of its design and the quality.
The 2009 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout Study (APEAL) was comprehensively done by J.D. Powers reflect the sentiments of the buyers with their cars. This was recorded with just 3 months of driving between the months of December 2008 to February 2009.
The questionnaire had questions that were comprehensive, and touched all the aspects that a buyer is looking out for in a luxury car. Questions were detailed and covered topics relating to interior design, exterior design, characteristics of driving, functionality and its operation, storage space and nominal details like the actual noise the car made when its doors were close.
